Tach needed Farmall 350

I bought mine off of Ebay - cheapo from India. Works fine and keeps track of the hours.

Three years old with about 250 hours on it.

I got mine along with cable, and drive gear kit. I got mine from Bates Corporation Bourbon, Indiana.

The tach shown in the link you have shows the PTO speed to be at 1450 engine rpm although it is listed for a Farmall. The ebay page also has a link to a Utility version of the tach from the same seller that has the PTO speed at 1750 engine rpm. However, I believe these two are reversed. My Farmall 350 has the PTO marked at 1750 rpm and the picture in my operator's manual also shows the same thing. For a Farmall the OP will want a tach that looks like this picture.

PTO speeds: If you look at D Beatty's Farmall 300 picture, it shows 1450 as PTO speed. Also tach hours are related to 1450 rpm. The utility hours are shown at 1750 which I think is correct as the Utility runs at higher RPM

Farmall and utility have the same drive train for the PTO. Both use 1750 RPM engine for 536 PTO RPM unless equipped with no t/a and with a transmission driven PTO. Then a tach. with 1650 engine RPM with 541 PTO RPM. Tachometer ground speeds compared to engine RPM was different between utility and Farmall. 1450 PTO RPM tach. was used on 400 and 450 models.
