255 cultivator return spring

if yall been keeping up, ive got the 255 mounted and working. using the one way cylinders off my 461's for now ; however there is a snag.

does anyone know the dimensions for the return springs on the 255 cultivators. right now i'm using 1 way cylinders and need the springs to help drop the toolbars back to the ground

I had the same problem with a cultivator I set up. Found a spring from an old implement that looked about 'right'.I believe it is 1 1/2" around;1/4" wire;Approx 18" long.Had to make a 'drawbolt' to allow adjustment."Correct",no. Works,yes.
