Cylinder Head Part No. Location - C123

We're rebuilding the engine on a 1971 IH 140 and we can not find the Part No. on the cylinder head.
The head is back from the shop and we have looked everywhere.
Is it stamped somewhere? Anyone know?
Thanks!

Thanks! The head is sitting on the table top after being returned from the machine shop.
We can not find a part # on the top surface. We found what looks like "12 17 R" but that doesn't sound right.

12 17 R is a date code, meaning the head was CAST December 17 of 1970. ("R" originally meant 1948, and was "recycled" again in 1970.)

I'm GUESSING you want to know if it is a gasoline head or a RARE LP head?

This won't be of much help, but here's what the parts catalog shows:

The number will be cast onto the head. It is not stamped. If the head was cracked at some point, and repaired, the repair may have obliterated the number.
