he steering wheel stopped turning ….left or right.. I greased all the certs I could find before stating home(quoted from post at 12:01:43 01/07/19) 300/350 had either power steering, or manual. If what you mean by "lost" is that the wheels are not turning when
the steering wheel turns, and it is manual steering, the pin on the steering follower may have broken off. If power
steering that part is less stressed, and doesn't often cause issues. If power, or manual steering and the wheels are
pointing in different directions, a tooth has broken off of the gears that turn the shafts sticking out of the box.
if power, and the power went away, it could be an assortment of things including hydraulic priority valve, blown
cylinder packing in the box, a stuck valve in the steering wheel torque sensor, or a stuck pilot valve in the safety
regulator (rear valve closest to the seat between the hitch valve and regulator. One tst to see if it is a priority
valve, or pilot valve is to dead head the hitch up to see if system pressure is restored as the pressure is forced
to rise. Jim
(quoted from post at 15:02:07 01/07/19) Your hydraulic system is powered by an engine driven pump between the front cover and the distributor. If the
steering wheel is stuck, you will need to get into the box to fix it. Jackson Power Steering company makes a kit.
There are really no new parts, just used ones. Jim
when I got home last night I check hydraulic fluid under the seat. No fluid on the stick... could it be that simple ??(quoted from post at 17:34:59 01/07/19) Utility tractor, not Farmall, Jim

will fill it up tonite… Thanks for the advice(quoted from post at 11:49:39 01/08/19) A cheap fill up with Hytran might work. Mine has had the pressure fail going to the system and it has never locked
up the wheel. It steers but is way difficult. Jim
can you tell me if there is filter for the hydraulic system and where it is located ..(quoted from post at 11:49:39 01/08/19) A cheap fill up with Hytran might work. Mine has had the pressure fail going to the system and it has never locked
