I?m having a hard time finding where to check transmission and drop box oil levels. 1966 year model. Can i get shop help?

On the left side, under the fender, behind the tire on the front side of the axle, there is a small plug, that is your transmission oil level plug, could be hex head or allen head.

maybe behind the brake rod. takes some looking to find.

drop axle plugs are on the pan. either front or rear, i do not know exactly. if a implement is attached, could be behind implement arms.

I have a '66 140. As stated, it's on the left fender, right behind the brake rod, near the front edge. The plug actually takes a square 5/16 inch driver. I suggest you go to your local Ace hardware and buy a 5/16 inch square bar say 1.5 inch long, which will turn it just fine with an open end wrench or Crescent wrench, then keep same in tool box under seat.

The final drive plugs are in the casting just above the gear pan toward the front, and take a 1/2 inch square drive. Any 1/2 socket drive extension works fine. The front anchor bolt hole is just in front, so it may be obscured by equipment brackets.
