Cleaned up and adjusted clutch to specs. Greased throw out
Bearing and sanded up clutch pad. Everything looks great. No mouse nests or rust to begin with. Made a dummy shaft up to align clutch pad during reinstall and now I can?t get the end of the spline shaft to align with flywheel. Clutch housing is about a inch away from being able to bolt up. There?s nothing in the manual but , is it possible that the clutch and flywheel have marks on them that have to be aligned back up so they go back in same place?

you can take the clutch shaft out of the clutch housing and use it to align the disc , then put the bell housing on, then put the shaft back in, should go right in then, easier tan trying to put the whole assembly in at once if you don't have the right alignment tool.

I almost tried that. I replaced a clutch years ago on a 30 but didn?t have any trouble. Must of got lucky and my eyes were working a lot better back then. Think I?ll do that , this housing is hell to pick up by yourself. Good advice to
