400 Thermostat Housing

Does anyone have the thermostat housing (both pieces) for a M or a 400 (part #s 6763DB and 6344D) that they would like to get rid of?? We are in need of one.

Two different top pieces were used. Early ones were like a M with the top brace for generator having a bolt between housing and valve cover. Others had a boss on right side of top housing for the brace bolt. Some will have both places for a mount. Do you have the old one? Ones that came with a adjustable generator pulley used the early type housing and the mounting bracket for generator was a little different than the non adjustable pulley ones.

I don't have the old one. I did find a buddy who has a junk M that I can get the housing off of, guess I just need to figure out if it is the right one. Thanks.

Unless wanting original both can be used. If running a alternator the top brace or strap would need modified some anyway. Forget the exact serial number break but 13,000 something was the change. If below that the M should be the same.
