Distributor Part

I need the shaft that goes through the distributor mounting bracket and bolts to the large gear that drives the distributor. I hope these pictures show the part clearly. You will notice that the shaft has a groove worn in it. If anyone happens to have this part, in good shape, I would like to purchase it. Thanks, Ellis

just get a rebuilt one then all parts are good to go. No mess around parts getting them to fit as your shaft is worn and needs to be miked out bushing replaced ect so just get am rebuilt bite the dust

Many thanks to everyone who responded. I have found one from Bob, who responded on this post. All the bushings in the dist. are perfect, so I see no need to replace, I found the gaskets and seal at an old IH dealer who still has some parts for the old stuff. Thanks, everyone. Ellis

I put a new SKF seal in mine, just crossed the IH number.

I am sure the speedi was listed by it.

My shaft was fine so I did not need the speedi.

A good used shaft is the way to go since you have one.

Hey Ellis, after you left, Greg told me he sold you all your parts. It was good to see you back there;sorry I didn't have time to talk much. About 1/2-1hr later the store was jammed-lots of farmers stopping in to kill time before lunch. The place really does get busy at times. Mark.

Shows SKF 14938 & speedi 99149

(quoted from post at 14:29:58 11/22/18) I stopped at Ky. Motors to get the speedi sleeve and an old codger spent about a half hour looking thru the book before he gave up. Next time I'll go to a
bearing shop. Thanks for the numbers, I wrote them down for the next tractor. Ellis

Just search for the SKF seal interchange, most parts people can't look anything up.

I do my own and have the parts shipped to my door.

A few years back the last old time dealer closed up so Messicks is a good choice, have used Hoober, Coleman and others.
