Hi folks! I bought a good 2350 loader cheap and want to put it on my caseih 885 which I believe is the same as IH 884. I know I'm going to have to do some strengthening of the tractor before installing the loader. Does anyone have any knowledge or experience in tackling such a job and could give me some pointers on what I need to make and do? TIA!

Hi, the 2250 model loader was the one designed for the 54/74/84/85 tractors. The 2350 loader was designed for the larger 86/88
series. If the 885 has a cab a joy stick loader control would be preferable.
The 84/85 series tractors are missing the frame rails of the larger 86 series and the 2250 mounting hardware includes frame rails
that attach to the bell housing mounting holes and on the mounting holes in the front bolster.
I helped my brother take a 2250 Quick attach off a CIH 495 and put it on a CIH 3230 both are same frame as your 885 but with
smaller engines.
