Just acquired a IH 200 rear blade. I want to put a hydraulic cylinder to adjust the blade angle from the seat. What size and stroke length cylinder do I need?

If you intend to dig it into the dirt at some point, you need to make sure you are using a cylinder with maybe a 16 inch stroke, and 2" diameter. The entire end of blade leverage will be applied to the hydraulic cylinder, and it can be large. Look at snow plow angling systems for example, and realize they are to push snow, not earth. The blade is for a 200, is your tractor a 200? if so you will need to be sure your valving and connections are 2 way, open center or it won't get the job done. Jim
