IH 230 Windrower

Hi:

I have a model 230 IH windrower. The left outside roller bearing is gone. I got it apart and this looks like a bearing with a rubber covering on it. The rubber covering looks molded to the bearing. Is it? Should I be able to pry the rubber off to get at the bearing?

Thanks

If you are describing the the draper roll bearings then yes the rubber is an isolation sleeve that is separate piece, they where still available at the dealer a few years back.

Hi Millwright:

Thanks for the reply.

"Draper roll" as in the roller on the left side of the table to roll the canvas on. Yes that bearing is toast. The rubber sleeve seems ok. It looked to me to be molded and i did not want to force it off until I knew if it was part of the bearing or not. Now I just have to see if I can seperate the two.

Hopefully when I seperate the two the number will still be visable. Would you know the bearing number just in case the number cannot be read?

Thanks

if you could find the part number i may have one or 2 if they are the same as on the IHC 201 swather.
Have been going thru parts as i am retiring and going thru the misc parts i still have. Have not had
the swather for a long time but remember some bearings in a round IHC tin and cardboard can.

Hi Harry:

The part numbers I have are as follows.

For the bearing 84330054 is a replacement part for the obsolete part(s) 608130R91

For the rubber retainer Part No: 592142R1

And for the support arm Product No: 824563C1

Thanks
