who sells the snap ring for thermostat,cant find it.......thanks dewy

There was a post about this very item 2 or 3 weeks ago. It is not a snap ring. It is just a piece of spring wire. I have mine held in by 3 small dabs of JB weld. Someone else suggested using a piece of plastic pipe to make a sleeve to take up space to the top of the housing and hold the thermostat in place. Would need to go to archives and enter super c thermostat and it should pull it up.

Pilot Knob Restorations has them, their part number 105-22212. It costs $6.90, according to the catalog I have. Their website address is pilotknobrestorations-dot-com. They also have the retaining ring for the thermostat...

105-22212 is the current CaseIH/FIAT part number for the ring, ANY dealer should have them or be able to get them, Messick's shows 2 in stock, FWIW.
