Farmall 806 Gas

Does anyone know if an 806 gas ever came with alternator? I would like to change mine from generator and am looking for the brackets.

The later tractors had alternators,the earlier ones had generators.Not sure,Will you also need to change the regulator,or do some rewireing? Just asking......

I will need help with wiring as i plan on using a built in regulator

if you go with a single wire alternator- should be very easy to wire. I believe it's just one wire back to the right side of the ammeter.
