Super c confusion

My young lad and I just bought a super c on the weekend for a winter project. On my super M serial tag it's says "super m", but the super c don't seem to say that. Any ideas?

Maybe your C isn't a super. I don't know if they put the word super on a C tag. You should be able to look up the serial number and find out. Does your tractor have disc brakes? I don't think a regular C had disk brakes.
 
An indicator for which that you have is the brake pedals. I think the "C" had straight pedals and the Super had the curved pedals. I am not sure though.
 
She's a real beauty, the wife doesn't think so. Hasn't run since 2011. A couple of hours and the young lad and I got her up and running. Beats him spending hours on his tablet
 
My Super C is #173728/ 1953. Yours looks a lot better than mine did when I bought it.

Just getting the boy off his tablet is worth the price of the tractor. looks like decent sheet metal. I'll bet it looks way better
when you get done with it.
