They made the rear end in Stannard width and narrow tread , witch is 8" narrower. depending what wheels you had and how you set them, dish in or dish out you could change the row width of the tractor. Regular, F-20 and F-30.

These had a shorter axel tube wich narrowed the read end. Not sure how rare these are, but always seem to bring good money. The standard width tractors are hard to get on car trailers because of being to wide. The narrow treads are much more easier to haul.

What did it bring? I know it must be regional but narrow rear are fairly common here in eastern Washington. Have several complete and couple parts tractors and have seen a few more. Perhaps they were easier to ship to the Pacific Northwest when they were new? Mike

Yep, had a parts NT Regular. Guy came from like 10 hours away just for the rear end for it. Try loading a complete narrow tread regular rear end and transmission into a brand new pickup with a topper on it. Had to go in endwise to fit. Felt bad for my dad that said he'd load it for me since I was hauling logs that weekend.
