Has any one ever had the fiber rub part of the points, that runs against the distributer shaft; ware down in less than 6 months of first firing up the engine.
It wore down so fast that the .020 gap vanished causing the points not open.
Can any one assist me with information, sugestions, past experience, mind sharing these with me, I'm mildly perplexed since years ago I drove a swedish car that had a similar type of points that didn't ""seam to ware out"".
