Going to get a look...

1946 Farmall A - Wanted to just change the manifold. 5 bolts went easy, 6th broke flush with the head. Drilled and found the water jacket was through the hole. Tried the easy out and Kroil oil for a few days, then the propane torch for 20 minutes around the hole. Bigger wrench and the easy out "mushroomed" the hole and cracked the casting around the hole. So, loaded it up and took to a local guy to get his opinion on repair or replace. Says he can braze and re-tap hole. But the head will have to come off, so I am going to get to see what the pistons look like after all these years.

Kinda late, now, but, when the bolt broke, sometimes it works to weld a large nut onto the broken bolt. After it cools down, the broken bolt might just turn out. Good luck.
