does anyone know of a source to get the OEM style 6 volt ignition coil for a Farmall Cub (any model really). I know Steiner has them but they are around $45 a pop......which isn't a terrible price......but just trying to find a cheaper source. Around $25 or $30 would be awesome! I don't want to get into all the rant about "be glad we have parts and don't complain about price" deal. Just trying to find the OEM style for a little cheaper. If not, then I'll get one off the shelf at Napa Parts for $25. Just want the OEM style if I can get it for the use of the original wiring and have the original look.

I just went to the parts store and got a universal coil for $15

Well.....this one has me scratching my head. I can't figure out what could be possibly wrong. I've changed the plug wires back to the old ones that it previously ran on, changed the coil to distributor points wire, used a jumper wire. Still no start!! It started easy and ran perfectly when I had a makeshift 12 volt coil, jumper wire from battery to coil, and 12 volt battery on it. What do you all think?? Watch the video. Sorry but the camera quit recording mid sentence.

Well....I'm gonna take a look at it this evening. Hoping I can figure out the problem!
