Super C Missing

My neighbor has been working on my Super C for me because there seems to be a miss at full throttle. He has overhauled the carburetor, reset the points, and ran the tractor in the dark to see if any wires were shorting out. The plugs are almost new. Any suggestions as to what else he should be checking?

carbon tracks and or crack in distributor cap, worn bushings in distributor allowing shaft to move which changes point gap, isolate which cylinder is missing then swap spark plugs and see if miss follows plug or same cylinder misses as it may be a bad plug. Are the valve clearance correct?

I forgot to mention the valve clearance was reset.

I don't see where any basic troubleshooting has been done....

Check compression, advance unit, timing, etc.

I would guess the bushings in the dist are bad letting the points open and close bad making the firing off some pull the cap and see if the shaft can move back and forth.
