Farmall BN oil filter

I-T manual says 5 quarts of oil. Sorry I doo not know the filter number and I'm not going to pull my filter out of my BA to find out LOL

The oil capacity is 5 quarts. If you're using the "short" oil filter, it's NAPA part 1172. The "long" oil filter is NAPA part 1125...

you could just go to NAPA and tell them you have a B farmall. They do have an application book. They could probably figure it out.

As has been said go to napa and ask for the filter that fits a 113 or 123 farmall A, B, BN, C: straight or suppers, all the same filter. Mine has the large, long filter. If yours is the short just be certain to specify.

You should get a new O ring with each filter. I don't always get one from NAPA so I just leave the old one in there. You should get a new one
withe the filter though.

NAPa usually leaves the Oring out of the 1125(M/SM),it is usually in the 1172(C/H). Idont always change the Oring. I do keep a new one hanging/on the shelf for when the 'old' one is damaged,or leaks.
