F20 36 wheels, rim compatability

The 36" wheels for an F20- will a modern 36" blank rim fit on those centers or only the IH rim that was made for them?

That depends on wich wheels your are talking about. I asume you are referring to the cast center wheels. And if so im sure you can find a modern rim that would work. Youd just have to rivet the lugs that mount the cast center to the rim. but i wont look the same not having the split rim ring on the edge.

Yes, the 36" with cast centers and the split rims. Wondered if I could get a wider rim or replace them if needed to. Was thinking of finding a pair to get more
adjustability with the tread widths to get it on the trailer.

The 38 inch Cockshutt?Co-Op rims will bolt to the 36" cast centers, the much easier to find 38" drop center rims from an H or M will also work on them, you will need 8 clamps on both sides as opposed to the 6 that the Letter series used and you will also need to weld a piece of round or flat stock to one set of the clamps to make u.p for the difference in thickness from the F-20 hub vs the Letter series hub. I have seen a few F-20s with M rims on 36" cast centers and it looks like one of the easiest swaps.
