Hi. I've been trying to find the drain for the water/fuel separator on my 234. I have the manual and all it says is "bottom left of fuel tank". Well I have looked all over it and can't find it. Does anyone have first hand knowledge of where the drain is? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I own one of these and I think what you are talking about is near the fuel line shut off valve. If you are sitting on the tractor its close to your right leg, under the hood piece that goes over the fuel tank. You have to get down low and look up. If I was at home right now I could take a picture but I'm sending this from work.

Appreciate the response, thanks. I've been looking by the shut off and filter area (changed the filter last night). Nothing is jumping out at me though!?
Bought the manual so I'd know this stuff but it's so vague I'm still scratching my head. I've used the tractor a lot and love it...but I'm sure this needs to be drained by now and, as I explained, I'm still trying to find the darn drain! If you can take a picture I'd appreciate it GREATLY!

I might be confusing the filter for a water drain. Your post is the first time I've heard of there being an actual water drain - I thought the filter was it. Obviously I don't spend much time looking inside and under things. LOL. Mine doesn't get too many hours per year as I use it mostly with the 4' rotiller I have with it and that use changes as the garden season progresses. I also have a 5' finishing mower but I don't use it much unless my other mower isn't running. I'll take a look when I get home tonight and maybe I'll learn something at the same time.

Got home and took a look at mine. I don't see anything on the left side of the tractor. Mine has what looks like a sediment bowl on the right side which is what I was referring to in an earlier post. I think there is a filter inside that but haven't had it off in a long time. Seems like that would settle any water in the fuel. Sorry I'm not more help.
