What should the end of the shifter look like for a M or super M ? I have a customer bringing one in he says is really sloppy . I don't want to be guessing blindly .

For what it's worth, the Farmall H and Farmall M shift levers will interchange. The 2 may have slightly different "bends", but the part that goes down into the transmission is the same.

I did mine when it stuck between gears. Someone on this website posted a picture of the end and I went from there. It was a fairly easy fix and I touched the weld up with a file. You might be able to post the question like I did and find the person who posted the picture. This was for an M also. Ellis

I just put one bead of weld on the one side on the tang, on the end of the stick. then take the grinder to it, to pretty it up a little. he's going to bring the tractor also, to make sure it fits into the slot's, right?
