Super Tech 2 cycle TC-W3 oil as additive?

I've read many articles & test results about the use of Walmart's Super Tech 2 cycle TC-W3 engine oil used as a diesel fuel additive, primarily for lubrication of the rotary distributor injection pumps. It appears to me that most of these articles are for over the road diesels (trucks). I would like to know how concerned I should be about my old 1969 International 656 diesel engine. Thanks!

A lubricant in the diesel fuel is nice and something to encapsulate the water is very important also, but i don't see 2 cycle oil doing that. Why don't you get some antigel with those qualitys and put it in your farm s.torage tank, then put the hose in the top of tank and pump it around maybe 100 gallons, and it 's mixed in there, and you'r done with it, you'r then ready for winter.

the thing is since sulfer has been removed from diesel it had been the lubrication for the pump and injectors. now dont know what they are adding to the fuel to compensate for lubricity.so adding 2 cycle oil to the system sure is not going to hurt a thing, most likely will help with pump and injectors lasting longer. after all, mixing 50:1 in gas and the pistons dont score in those little engines kinda tells the story right there.

If it hasnt messed up in the, what 10 years or so, ULSD has been out, its not going to be hurt now. (Unless you have been using off road most of that time. Cant really remember when that changed) I will say I did add it to my 01 Powerstroke, since it had really gotten louder since ULSD was made mandatory, and it did quiet it down.

I have been adding 2-cycle oil to my diesel in our JD 4600 for 10 years or so now, not much, 2-3 oz per 10 gallons, I also add a little biocide once in awhile. I use nothing but off-road diesel, but I understand it's all ULS. I have heard that the biodiesel that's added gives it a lot of lubrication, any comments? Another question, should I use TCW oil or oil for air-cooled engines?
