Gas line leaking farmall H

On my farmall H the gas line going into the sediment bulb is leaking. The old fitting was leaking so I put a new one on. it slowed the leak from a drip to the line just being damp with gas not drip is there something I can use to seal it off. thanks for any advice.It is as tight as it can go without stripping something.

probably needs a new line with the furrels.

If you think the threads need to be sealed, they make a gasoline proof thread sealer compound. I bought some at an auto parts store.
