Is this tractor open or close center hydraulics?

What is the GPM of the system?

Any idea what the correct model 12v hydraulic valve is that can be controlled via laser for grade work that is compatable with this
system? My first attempt failed with the valve I have because the box blade would not raise fast enough to hold grade and would
lower to fast, so I blame the control valve is not proper?

TIA.

Have you heard or seen this done with a newer tractor with better hydraulics using the same type of box blade you are using? I am wondering if it may not be possible to control it well enough due to the geometry between the blade edge, hinge and hitch point. And the axle location in proximity to all the fore mentioned. If no one comes up with a reply here I would post this on the Machinery Talk forum on New AgTalk. There is a lot more traffic over there and more knowledge about more modern equipment using GPS or laser controls etc.

That system is a open center system , now as to the GPM i am not sure as you are running two belt driven pumps off the shaft and i assume that one is for the power steering and one is for the remotes . I have never worked on one myself as we did not have any BUG tractors in this area while i had the shop open and the only big 4X4 tractor to hit the area was one i bought and it was not and I H and the only work i did to it was install three batterys , replaced the alt. and refilled the brake master cylinder and bleed the brake changed the oil and gave it a once over and plowed and disced my massive corn acreage in two days and plowed a friends garden with two passes and by the time the back bottoms were going in the ground the ft was coming out of the ground . Gave his wife something to talk about for years .But as a guesstamation here i would say that ya may have someplace around 15 to 25 GPM and maybe 1750 to 2150 PSI on that system if the pump is good. as they all used the same style pumps and valving on the old 4x4's Deere used there own and it was a closed center system .
