In response to Barnyard's earlier comments. The M bolster was broken and welded, the side rails were welded to the bolster as well. The Md radiator is junk,so using the 400 radiator as I don't want to spend a lot of money on a new radiator. the MD flywheel was stolen,so the 400 flywheel.I needed a hydraulic reservoir, hence the 400 reservoir. The 400 came off a dairy.Their loader tractor. it is rough,it has had the liveing crap beaten out of it.The motor was rebuilt(with a new clutch) shortly the transmission went south. The TA had been out for years,a rear axle was wallered due to a rear wheel being loose for a long time.Something poped in the rear and it quit.A rear wheel is cracked, smooth tires.then it sat for 10-15 years. The MD sat on the side of a mountain at 9500 ft for 40 years. So we are going to have a hodge-podge.I really don't care,as I'll have a running tractor instead of two junkers in the 'dead row'.

Sounds like a great and worthwhile project.. Sounds like you are saving 2 tractors from the scrapper and coming out with a good running one to boot.

WHERE are you getting that I am a "naysayer?"

I've only said, THREE TIMES now, that it will be EASIER than you think it is. You've made out that this is some large undertaking. It isn't.

*DO* it!

I don't think I can put it much more simply than that.

Pretty much what I did to make my BA. 2 parts Bs and a parts A and now I have a good running BA. Front from a B block from a B engine parts from the A and transmission/rear end of the A. Has a A-16 sickle mower on it and the mower was why I built it

Delta Red I have many items here where I made something from two three or more piles of goodies.Having made something from when dollars were short give you the mother of invention.Charge on and you will have something.Scott

I AM doing it. Almost done......Hook up hydraulics;wire/ignition system;fabricate throttle;hood/tin work.
