Must be a Diesel, there's 5 main bearging caps laying there !

On the very front of the block is an oil passage to the head. This is a leak spot that plagues many7 Gas/diesel IH engines. I recommend machining a counter bore in the head surrounding that small passage deep enough to accept a teflon Oring. Then open the head gasket there to accept the Oring to contact the block. 50% of Oring section diameter depth should provide squish through the head gasket. Jim
