Wiring diagram 460 diesel?

Does anybody have a good wiring diagram for a diesel 460? Going to rewire this tractor this weekend..... I have been scouring Google to no avail...

I've always made my own drawings, there's not much there. Start from the ammeter and check out what you have already. Some tractors have wire bundles going down both sides.

My 0.02 is to take the time to integrate an alternator and go to 12 volt neg ground if you have not already done this. I'm up to 3 tractors converted as such and it makes a huge difference in just being able to walk up to them, pull the levers and go. Don't have to go tinkering around to figure out whats wrong NOW.

After that its the "ignition" switch, the lights, starter pushbutton. I don't know if the diesels have electrically heated glow plugs or not.

As far as the construction of the harnesses, I used THHN stranded building wire, very tough. Couple with Panduit's heat-shrink/glue laden butt-splices. Wrap all in black plastic split conduit and reform the original sheetmetal routing clips to capture the harness. I also found some weatherpacked mini-fuse holders on ebay and made use of these over the glass fuses.

I have a scanned diagram for a 560 diesel. It should be same as for your 460.

Send me an email to wrm(at)rochester(dot)rr(dot)com and I'll send the .jpg back when as I get home tonite. (It's on my home computer and I'm on the road today...)
