Been lurking for quite awhile and finally decided to post info about my 1950 H. Purchased it last October and refurbished it over the winter.
Just cut 6 acres of hay with it and it performed great.

Picture didn't upload. I'll try again.

Thanks guys, yes you have to be very responsible when you use the buzz saw. Sure makes quick work of the cord wood though.

My Dad had a buzz saw like yours we used back in the 60's. He had his staked down and used a longer belt to run it. I don't remember which tractor he used to run it but it was either our H or a W9. Are you
planning to cut wood or is it just for show.

Very nice :) Have a 47 H that would envy your nice redo. Mine doesn't look like that but got her running nice and enjoy using it. Nice shop too!
I noticed the kerosene heater in the first pic reminded me of a very regrettable project when painting a car several years ago. I had been heating the paint area after I had completely prepped the car and shut it off to paint and it smoked just a bit. Did one of the best paint jobs I ever did. Before it cured, well you might be able to guess how it looked. Lesson learned.

Looks like you didn't have those issues very nice job enjoy.
My son wants to refurbish ours and I will be showing him yours, I'm glad see the extent you went to and the results. His idea of refurbish and mine differ a bit- no more rattle can rebuilds. I prefer her in her work clothes to a quickie redo.

Plan on refurbishing the saw and using it occasionally. I also plan on staking it down once I'm finished.

Thanks Grandpa, yes kerosene fallout can be a pita. Over the winter I kept the temp up with my coal stove while painting.
