Would it be possible to get a few photos of your neighbors 1939 A with serial number #501? I could use them to identify some correct parts for my serial number 2144 such as front hub casting numbers, draw bar shape, correct steering housing bolt orientation etc.

I think the owner would let me take some pictures. I will point out that the guy he bought it from had started to take it apart to
"restore" it, so the way it looks might not be totally factory. email is open.

I suspect as it is 'the' early version, it will be different than what I have. Mine will never be stock as it has a '52 engine block and a 47? cylinder head. Over the years #501 made had a few non stock alterations as well. What I am interested in knowing is the draw bar shape, front hub part number (? 6787DB), oil pressure gauge part number(? 45987D) and whether or not it has a plug over the throw out bearing grease hole (it should not). The mag kill on that unit should be a grounding tab where as mine now has a some what correct pull to stop cable.

Anything you can do to help will be greatly appreciated. No need to rush either.

Thank you,
Dale
