Farmall c zenith carb gasket?

Went to put my C on auger duty today, noticed it was leaking gas from the gasket above the bowl. When I pulled it, there was a fair amount of gas in the rubber hose from the air intake canister. I thought I had the right gasket on hand, but wasn?t quite right. Didn?t quite cover the area it needs to. Then again, the old gasket was solid above the floats. This one has the float areas cut out, and as I said didn?t quite fit. If it should be an open one as this image shows, I can make my own with fuel-rated gasket maker in the morning, otherwise, I?m going to have to order a gasket. It?s a zenith carb. Gasket on the right is more/less identical to what I have on hand.

Sounds more like the needle/seat leaking or bad float or float level setting. If that was right the fuel level wouldn't reach that air horn gasket.

I believe the float is bent out of position as well, I have another float handy I?ll put in there. I just have to see which gasket is correct first.
