Hello!
I?m having trouble with the linkage on my 240 Utility. It?s Fast Hitch, Tel-a-depth with traction control. The hydraulics work fine as long as the rear operating rod is disconnected from the eccentric and manipulatied at the eccentric. If the rod is connected to the eccentric the lift wants to stay in the down position and loaded throughout the travel on the quadrant.
I am missing the traction control rod that connects to the bell crank at the bottom of the cylinder. I?m beginning to think this is my problem and without the operating rod, it?s not allowing the cylinder to rest in the proper position and makes the lift think it needs to make an adjustment. Am I in the ball park with this assumption?
It?s not the tractors fault...it?s the idiot operator that has no clue what he?s doing!
