The original subject was "international 284 air filter cross reference".
Case 274 and 284 w/ Nissan SD 16 engine Case IH air filter PN 1064609C1 cross reference. I feel your pain. Although this is an old thread maybe someone else can benefit from this. ALCO MD 610K can replace the original Tsuchiya filter. The ALCO.com catalogue cross references the MD-610K to these Mfrs. P/ns: A.M.C NA267, G.P.C FC697K, and Nissan 16546-L1610. Ebay may be worth looking up these part numbers as well. I refused to pay the Case PN suppliers listing the filter for $202.00. I did pay $99.00 for this filter (masked as ?contracted EU supplier? for Case PN) to replace my 1984 Tsuchiya filter with 1,448 hours. Should be able to get this MD 610K for about $22.00 based on an old ?no longer listing? on Ebay.
