IH 666 with damaged year-a-round cab

Hi all;
I have an IH 666 with the year-a-round cab. I was using it to raise plywood for a new barn roof, backed up a bit and bent the door. I did minimal damage, but the door is now very stiff when nearly closed. It appears there is a brake of some sort in the door mechanism that I damaged. I don't see how to get at the internal parts. Does everything come out if I take off the handle mechanism? Can I get there at all without cutting out the metal around the handle?
Photo attached, if I do things right...
Thanks,
Jim

I suspect you sprung the hinges and they no longer swing on the same centerline so they bind when nearly closed. I am not sure if that will make sense to you. You need to get the door to fit back in the frame as it did before. This will be done by adjusting the hinges if that is possible. If they don?t bolt on it will require a wood block, a 2lb hammer and more finesse then I can put into words here.
