tryed to save one from crusher..rusted up bad...gov is rusted into bushing..once i get it out and need to replace gov an cam bushings where do you get bushing removal tool...thanks as always.....dewy

There are no cam bushings unless somebody bored it out & put them in. Cam ran in the bare block. You will need a puck to drive out the governor bushing. I would make sure you can find one before removing it.

steiner has them.says may have to size after installation...where do you get puck driver at.....thanks

I got a local machinist to make one for me.
Or, you could take the block to a machine shop and let them press it out for you.

Use some WD-40 or something to get the gear out. Then use some sandpaper to clean the bushing intil the gear will fit. I have done that before and it will work.New bushings need to be honed sometimes more or not at all but you do need a driver to replace it. I made one and make sure if you replace to get the lube hole lined up. No reason the old one will be fine when you get it cleaned.

i got it out an cleaned the bushing up...cam it toast but crank is in good shape coundnt believe it ....thanks yall dewy
