A couple days ago I posted questions regarding my timing and
I wanted to give an update that the tractor is now running. My
problem was simple I had the battery on the the same side as
my starter on the starter switch and the battery was on the
post by itself I guess that?s what happens when you wire it
together at midnight without thinking. That explains why every
time I hit the starter it would fire then stop suddenly. I do have
one question regarding the oil pressure I noticed my oil
pressure gauge was on up to about 3/4 on the gauge when
idled down it went down not to the red but kinda close the
gauge is a new one that I got off eBay it was really cheap so
maybe it?s not registering right but I was just looking through
pictures I had on my phone and I know I asked this before but
on the rear camshaft bearing closest to flywheel I put the one
hole to the rear main hole as I was told. So by doing this the
camshaft bushing covers the rear main hole but it looks like
the rear main has a channel inside the block that feeds the oil
pressure line is this correct? I?m just curious
