The governor on my 1947 Farmall M finally bit the dust about a month ago. Jerking and not controlling the engine. Ironically at the same time, I got the latest Farm Show Magazine and there was an article about a gentleman in Carroll, Iowa who rebuilds governors for Farmall tractors. I decided to give him a try and I got my governor back yesterday. I am extremely well pleased with his work, all new bearings and bushings and a new throttle shaft that he made. Bob lenz from storm creek governors also just did my governor on my super h. I?m very pleased on the job/workmanship that he did on it. Came with all new gaskets too and a very nice detailed instructions to adjust if need be. High recommend!
