h/w4 distributor housing

how much grease should you put in the distributor housing when you put an engine back together? i cleaned out all the old grease and dirt in the housing

interesting question. The hole kinda goes directly into the housing with casual relationship to the bushings. I would lube the bushings prior to
assembly with chassis grease, and pump in about 10 pumps through the fitting. I would put 4 pumps into the fitting each year. Jim

yes i greased up the gears before i put the distributor in , but i dont want to overload the housing with grease, i guess i'll put in about 10 pumps and then go from there
