Can anyone tell me if IH produced a LP gas M. I found one today and it looks factory made but I heard that they only made the Super M in a LP version. I didn't get the serial number. Is there a special suffix they used to distinguish a LP model? Does anyone have a picture of a LP M so I could compare it?

Yes, IH's first official tractor from the factory with LPG was the Super M. However, it seems that a lot of tractors were converted at the dealerships when new, or were shipped to converters directly from the factory. IH itself showed some converted Ms at shows in the late 1940s.
