400 Fast Hitch repair

Took the slop out of my 400's Fast Hitch by replacing the sway limiter assembly. Both the shaft and the housing were worn. Also installed a Check Valve in the system as there was not one. The hitch tightened up considerably with these parts replaced and some TLC. The eye bolt was loose and the threads were beat up. I had a shop chase the threads on both the nut and eye bolt, good as new. I bought a fast hitch installation instruction book and it is chuck full of good info. I didn't know that there are even braces that could be installed on the sides if you were only using it as a draw bar. I plan to purchase a swinging draw bar in the future. I keep reminding my wife that this is a whole lot cheaper than a Harley!

Please don't knock my block off, but this site still leaves a bit to be desired where technology is concerned..... I've tried 3 times to upload pics the same way I have here before and ..... Nope! I'd say thats why its mostly text conversation on this site....

Actually it's pretty easy, at least in "modern view". I know nothng about classic.

Hit reply, below the reply box is the advanced box.
In the advance box at top , select "upload photo".

select "Upload",
then hit "continue".
Your picture is now in your reply box. No need to have anyone host your picture as use the one on your computer.

Photobucket has recently "broken part of the internet" by disabling all links to 3rd party sites, unless you fork over a fat chunk of cash. So I wouldn't recommend them.

Flickr is still free and in my opinion works better than PB ever did. Hopefully Flickr can keep it up.
