sounds like you may have low compression in that cylinder takes a lot more compression to ignite deisel fuel than gasoline,try pulling off the valve cover and look for broke valve spring or stuck valve on that cylinder, if valves train is okay go on to compression check.

HI,i have a tractor Mc-Cormick Deering i d`ont know the year and the model somebody told me.it was mabe a w4 or w6 and i need the exaust manifold before buying this piece i have to know.Please somebody help me .send me photos of tractors w4 or w6 Thank You Roger Dion

Hi guys,I had printed <3> photos of tractors on your site ,One Mc-Cormick Deering W4 1943 ,one W4 1944 and one W4 1947 ,Submitted by Rob Hall,one by William from SD,one by Bob Lyons from BC.I still wonder if my tractor is a W4 or W6. Please somebody tell me the difference between the two.Mine has no tag or motor number ,serial or model. I love your site very much. Thank you very much Roger Dion
