Going through lift-all on my F-12 and I don't remember any gaskets between the outside housings and the vane body. Service manual doesn't show any either. What do you experts recommend?

I've got a F-14 with the hydraulic lift. When I bought it in 1988 the seals were leaking badly so I took the whole thing apart. It had original style seals so its possible it had never been apart. It did have a gasket in between each of the sections. I cut a new gasket for each section when I put it back together. I also have a parts manual for the tractor which shows the lift. It lists gaskets for other places but none for the 3 main reservoir sections. I guess I can't imagine the sections not leaking with out gaskets. I've had a hard time getting oil seals that don't leak. The lastest set from NAPA has worked the best but I still have a small leak on one side. Its tough to find people who know a lot about these lifts.
