Hydro 70 for sale near me. Cylinder head removed. From what I see, most all the pieces are there but owner has passed away. Probably 3to4 thousand hours and in good shape. As to why the head was removed, can't really say. Not really concerned about the engine but wondering more about the hydro transmission. With regular maintenance, what might the service life of the transmission be? Tractor never had much heavy high draught work. The owner had put a loader on it but never used it much after that. Just wondering. Always thought those older Farmalls were kinda cool.....Ron

Tough call.
If it's been serviced and not run under heavy load the hydro should be good. Make sure it doesn't get moved with the range lever in gear. That will destroy the motor section in just a few feet.
