I took the power steering off of my 560W. Can the hydraulic lines be plugged off, or should I loop them together?

Quoting Removed, click Modern View to see

560 had two (2) hydraulic pumps, they were piggybacked. You either have to run a loop hose or remove the pump and then you plug the ports. You will also have to install a cover on the back of the main hydraulic pump, otherwise the main pump can suck in unfiltered oil from the housing.

Thanks for the help. Looks like I'll just go the easy route and keep the lines looped.

take the lines off from the pump housing and from the hydraulic pedestal and plug them the same as factory did. there is a blanking plate for the hydraulic pump side and a plug for the pedestal side. its all run off the same hyd. pump.

Best loop them together if the power steering pump is still in place. Capping the lines will blow the relief valve all the time, damaging the pump.

That's the way I have it now. just wanted to clean things up a little. Never worked on a steering pump on one of these. Just always assumed the power steering ran off the main hydraulics. Learn something every day!
