I have a Farmall Cub and mold board plow. I need dimensions of the "link coupling" between the plow depth adjustment lever and the drawbar. The old manual lists the part as "512-308-R92". I need to make(or buy)one. My guess is that it is 8 to 12 inches long, not including the eye bolt. Any help on dimensions or locating one would be appreciated.

Thanks guys for the help on dimensions for the plow depth item. The pictures and measurements is exactly what I needed. Now I'll try to find one or get one made. Roy

third party image

The 5/8 holes are 8 1/2 inches apart on center. That would be from the first to the last hole. The three holes that are together are one inch apart. Click below for more pictures.

Wardner,
That looks like the lever for a hillside plow. Of course the link would be the same, only with one link on each side. I have that part and some others for my set...but I expect to have to make the selector handles and a few other parts. Do you have more of it available for pictures?

George, I don't know what a hillside plow looks like. The plow that I have is a two way cub plow. It is a set of left and right bottoms that includes a bracket that attaches behind the seat. The bracket holds one or the other plow up when it is not being used. Because you are an expert metal worker, you could fabricate one but you should have an original to copy from. I can't make anymore pictures because my digicam got stolen. BTW I know that you are looking for a tiller. I have a Cub tiller but I have no idea how it attaches or even works with the high 1st gear ground speed. I do not need it. I am perfectly happy with a bigger one that plugs into my big fasthitch tractors. Punch the link for more Cub implement pictures.

Wardner,
Thanks for the reply. We are talking about the same plow...just using different names for it. Sorry about your camera. It's the levers, brackets and latches to hold the plows up that are missing.

I have a (gasp) John Deere tiller from a L & G tractor that I may put a separate engine on. Then I could rev it up while idling the tractor back. We'll see.

Someone did a nice job posting the implement pictures.
George

I have one i could measure and get back to you on. Would be easy to duplicate one. It is roughly 8 inches long, i don't think the length will make much of a difference so long and the hook up in the back is the correct length.
