Cleaning up toy tractors

I have a collection of toy tractors that are in need of a good thorough cleaning. What is the best method to remove the dust that won't easily brush off and is safe on the decals and such. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I've washed them in the sink using dish detergent. I'm not sure that is the best way, but they survived.

Use Dawn dish soap and it will clean them up nicely.

I dust mine with a swifter a q tip and a can of compressed air.

I'd guess that if they are dried thoroughly, perhaps with a hair dryer, that little to no harm is
done. I've had a notion to do the same thing with some of mine.

Does not seem to for me, they are long stuck.
