Gas Head on Farmall H

I am getting ready to put a Farmall 300 head on my Farmall H. Currently, my H has the distillate head on it. While it is torn apart, am I
able to run the stock carb and manifold on it, or will I need to upgrade to a Super H carb and manifold? The only engine work I have done to
it is overbore, stepped head pistons, so nothing too crazy.

Any help would be great.

Have the same setup you do. I have a 300 manifold & carb but still
using h carb & manifold and is working good. Someday I might
put the 300 manifold and carb on to see if it improves performance.
