My son was driving my Super A the other day and the casting that holds the axle and bull gear on the right side broke very near where it bolts to t he axle tube. Can this be welded or brazed or is it best to replace it. Does anyone know of a tractor wrecking yard in Washington or Oregon?

There was a posting about 4 days ago that someone had a complete rear assy. for an "A" for sale. Unfortunately I can't remember where.

The final drive housings for the A and Super A do not interchange.

I'd replace it. The part should be inexpensive. I've got plenty of them but tou're too far away for me

You might look up this address on line as it has a listing of salvage yards all over the U.S.
Good luck.
