Hello everyone. My question to all is my 706 has started to run rough at start up needs lots of choke to keep idling until warmed up. Once warm seems to run fine. Any thoughts on where to start looking as a cause. Tractor does not get used much just simple chores around the farm. Have had it for over 5 years and has run fine. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I would richen the Idle 1/2 turn at a time to see if it helps. Jim

Check the condition of the manifold heat control valve and spring. Bob

Before taking anything apart try running some Sea Foam through it and take it out and work it. One question have you ever did a tune up on it in the 5 years you owned it?
